The Paleo Diet Food List

Paleo Diet Food List

Whenever you start on a new diet it can be difficult to figure out what types of foods are okay to eat, and which ones are not. By following this Paleo Diet Food list you can plan out your meals without having to worry about whether or not you are violating the rules of your diet.

 1. Meat. Generally speaking most forms of meat are perfectly fine to eat when you are on the Paleo Diet. However certain meats such as cured meat are not okay, so make sure that you are only eating natural and unprocessed meat sources. When cooking your meat you can also add flavor by adding onions and other spices, but you should avoid using sugar and salt or any type of marinade that contains them.

 2. Fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables, along with meat, should for the foundation of your Paleo Diet food list. When preparing your fruits and vegetables make sure that you do so in a way that is compatible with the Paleo Diet. Keep in mind that just because you are on a caveman diet does not mean that your meals have to be prepared like a caveman would. There's nothing wrong with drinking juice as long as it's all natural, and you can also cook your vegetables to make them more flavorful.

 3. Nuts. Nuts are a great source of protein and are Paleo friendly as long as they are not salted or otherwise processed.

 4. Eggs. Eggs are a favorite of many people for breakfast, and if you are on the Paleo Diet they can remain a part of the foods that you eat. Eggs are loaded with protein and will help to keep you feeling full, while also fueling your body with what it needs.
